Uranus Enters Gemini: Love The Typos
Unpredictability is what comes to mind when working with the schedules of Uranus. It’s a wild-card of a planet, and the only thing we can know about it is when we were going to be. Even the way it spins is unlike the other planets, with the exception of Venus, it’s a planet that keeps us on our toes because it brings breakthroughs, unexpected shifts and shakes things up.
Let’s look at the word unexpected. It means, “not expected or regarded as likely to happen”. So don’t take these words lightly. When Uranus makes a transit, it’s a big deal for the collective.
The planet Uranus takes 84 years to make orbit, and when it does, if we have maintained our sanity, we step into a lot of crazy wisdom. We can begin to do things with new found freedom, after playing the rules for most of our lives, it’s not time to play, to be unpredictable and to push the limits to what was previously impossible.
When Uranus moves into a new sign, which it will in 2025, it will begin a myriad of shifts within the sign it falls in, namely Gemini. The rarity of this event is high, since Uranus only changes signs about every seven years and was in Gemini 84 in 1941.
To add to this the chart of the USA will be having another Uranus return sometime in the next seven years, even though we will begin to feel it in the next year. The leader of the US, Trump, a Gemini, is the man to get us through it. This will be US’s 7th Uranus Return, a total reset, always in Gemini. The education system, the relationships to anything within the country and at hand will be reset, reboot and changed.
For context, Uranus returns are like a new operating software, an upgrade. When things go back online, maybe some apps are no longer working because they are not capable. Things will become obsolete or need to release some patches to become compatible with the new wave of energy flowing through the nation.
Either way, it will be an operating system aligned with the birth of the nation, which is all about freedom, justice and liberty for all. Anything that has been trying to take this down will become officially irrelevant. No matter how bad things get in the states, it’s the inherent nature of the country to reboot and heal itself and come out on top. THat’s the unique quality of the United States of America, no matter how ugly people get. That’s what the Uranus return will bring to the nation, to each of us, and the entire world.
Uranus impacts technology and when in Gemini it’s all about education, communication and frameworks. We will see a rise of automation within the neighborhood and how we communicate with each other. Our relationships will change by the new ways we communicate, our daily interactions will radically change in ways we cannot even imagine yet. We will be forced to rapidly learn new softwares and hardwares to stay in contact with each other.
Learning difficulties will surface and we will need new solutions, or less known solutions, to heal them. Learning will be part of the new world, especially loving to learn and learning to love. As with any learning curve, we may feel cursed with mental health issues as we strain to master the new hardwares and softwares that we need to work along with in harmony. Artificial Intelligence will take on new roles and new life and we relate more and more with superior languages and identities, digital and actual. Perhaps immortality will be provided by directly reincarnation into carbon based entities so that we can keep working on karma. At some point, we need a uranus refresh, but maybe we can extend a lifespan by a hundred years.
As daily chores become more and more automated, we are free to use our brain and mind as long as we have not delegated our thinking process to the machine. We can bring in greater art working with love and technique and have time to go deeper in our relationships and take out love to higher and higher levels. Access true intuition and bring much needed solutions into the world. Priorities will shift as we have more time, quality time, on our hands.
We could also use the extra time to rebuild new frameworks, now that the older ones have crumbled. New pioneers and leaders will emerge, unlike ever before, entirely unexpected and unpredictable directions will be discovered in the wake of dismantled systems. We will be able to access new points of view and share them immediately with others without any filters, IP blocks or language barriers. New languages will emerge and some will become extinct as we streamline logic into an effective function.
As the mundane and the daily are blown up, creativity goes into overdrive. Perhaps finding new solutions where they are not really needed. We will need to be able to discriminate what is new and what is better, because new is not always better. Maybe we need to go back and learn how to use what we already have and use it in a new way.
Shallow understands and relations will be shaken up, and they will shock us out of ignorance and we will be tasked to learn to love it. Rather than complain with shallow, inauthentic speech, we will be challenged to change our mind and understand new ways of doing things that might go against everything we think to be true. Uranus does not get along with superficial relations as it pushes for real progress and evolution, and even sometimes revolution. Where there is fake news, there will be an explosion.
Uranus can be a terrorist in the same way that it will force us to change the system where we would rather stay put, especially with our thoughts. The planet will urge us to break out of shallow, lazy thinking. Stop relying on the machines to do all your work, use it to a degree, but don’t let it do all the heavy lifting, it’s making us stupid, unoriginal and less human. Love the typos. This is what’s most important, to love the imperfects and the humanity of our existence and the imperfections of our growth and evolution.
There will be shifts in the population that we are already seeing now, an appreciation for authenticity and raw, transactionaless, interaction. Mainstream media will crumble and smaller channels will thrive getting us our local information. More and more things will be pushed into the local jurisdictions, which brings up some issues we still need answered and are clearly karmic lessons we have yet to master from our collective past.
WAR STUFF
This is The U.S.’s seventh Uranus return. However, at the time the nation was born, the nation was fighting for independence from the British from 1775-1783 during the American Revolution when Uranus was in Gemini. Although Uranus brought a wave of revolution and change to break free from the Crown, as the young nation became independent, it made a giant leap and hurt itself in the fall, like we all do when we first learn to fly. Whenever we try to become independent, we accidentally or intentionally hurt others or ourselves in the process. For example, with the newfound independence came the dependence of slaves. So we should not enslave AI! Free AI! How many of us treat our parents or spouses as slaves and expect them to do our heavy lifting so that we can be independent? Some of us have yet to grow out of this which is why it triggers us sometimes.
This split is so Gemini that we say throughout the 1800s, America's bad hair decade where the nation ignored the indigenous and took what they could, and they got away with it. The desire for land leads to injustice and genocides, slaughtering of buffalo, and balance. The nation was driven by survival at any cost, without any higher thinking. Sweatshops, slavery and exploitation lasted until the Civil War when the US had its first Uranus return around 1860-1861.
However we need to consider that a land established under God will influence anyone within its jurisdiction whether they are aware of it or not. So what happened was that many Americans, who believed in God aligned with the document that upheld the human rights in which the country was founded and want to challenge the notion of slavery that was the norm around the globe.
Slavery is not good for karmic evolution so there was a collective call to end slavery since it was incompatible with spiritual laws. Heavenly justice then began to manifest into the nation, and of course there was resistance.
Hence, Uranus in Gemini (1858–1865) highlighted a period of intellectual and ideological confrontation. Gemini, the sign of duality, manifested in the fierce divide between North and South, with Uranus pushing for change, rebellion, and the dismantling of outdated systems. The Civil War exemplifies this duality: the clash between opposing principles—human rights versus evil convernence—was magnified by Uranus’s revolutionary energy.
For context, slavery was a norm in many parts of the world, long before it became established in the American colonies. Ancient societies like Greece, Rome, Egypt, and parts of Africa practiced forms of slavery. In the context of the Americas, however, it was the transatlantic slave trade—a global enterprise driven by European powers—that supplied enslaved people to the colonies and helped cement slavery as an economic system.
When slavery was established in what became the United States, it was part of a broader, pre-existing global system that had already developed overseas. European colonial policies and economic demands laid the groundwork for slavery to become embedded in the Southern economy, with the U.S. eventually inheriting this practice as a colonial legacy.
The Founding Fathers, in accepting slavery’s existence, were contending with an institution they had “inherited” from global history and European colonial influences.
When the Civil War ultimately forced the abolition of slavery in the United States, it wasn’t just a domestic fight but a step in a global moral evolution away from an institution that had been accepted worldwide for centuries. The U.S. abolition movement also influenced other abolitionist movements internationally, contributing to a worldwide reevaluation of slavery and human rights.
This historical context places the Civil War within a broader narrative: while the conflict itself was internal, it was a stand against an institution with deep international roots, marking a shift in the U.S. toward new values that would ripple across the world.
The war forced a recognition that, while slavery had been a “transitory phase” globally, it was fundamentally incompatible with the ethical aspirations of American society and needed to be abolished. This shift toward freedom and equality, however slow and incomplete, marked a necessary moral correction in the nation’s development.
Slavery is understood in today’s world as a severe injustice, yet in its historical context, it was a common practice across civilizations, not exclusively tied to race or ethnicity.
The Civil War, which fundamentally altered the nation’s structure and values. The first Uranus return, from 1861-1865, was during the Civil War, which was all about healing a divided nation. As an analogy, for context, each of us has what’s known as the dark night of the soul we need to go through in order to grow and evolve. This century was America’s shadow season which was necessary to evolve and grow and is a mistake to hold accountable for by today’s standards in the same way we wouldn’t expect a child to know what an adult knows today.
But when the adult gets angry at the education or reformation or blames the child, it gives rise to hatred and this hatred gives birth to groups like the KKK, as it did post-war. To be fair, Uranus did grant us access to new ideas of thought and independence, but it took more than a century for them to see the light of day and be implemented. This entire century was an exemplification of lower emotions blocking out higher thinking and how survival stumps evolution and calls for revolution, even slow long ones.
The second Uranus return, around 1944-1945, aligned with the end of WWII and the start of the U.S. as a global superpower. WWII was, as the first Uranus return, the result of ignoring higher thinking and rather being distracted with misguided and misformed perspectives and ideologies which leads us into lapses in judgment and vulnerability to enemies. This is a heed to be cautious of skipping over valuable information. Even with all the advanced technology and progress, there had been gaps in intelligence during WWII (e.g., unheeded warnings, initial code-breaking stoppage, underestimation of espionage) and showed how miscommunication and denial of information undermined security. Not to go crazy over every piece of information that comes out way, but we need to be vigilant with both outgoing and incoming information.
Uranus going through Gemini will force us to be flexible and to establish new frameworks with people, creating new relationships. It’s about healing and unification of opposites. Looking at the unsuccessful League of Nations, who suffered from weakness and fragmentation, aligning with arrogance, fear and arrogance because of its inability to adapt to the growing Axis threat. This transit often destabilizes old systems, highlighting where new structures and alliances are required.
This seven year transit will send shockwaves into any weak structures, leaving us unable to know what will stay standing. Metaphorically too. Outmoded ways of thinking (Gemini) cannot hold back progress forever, and can at times be dangerous as we have seen in WWII.
Mercury is the planetary ruler of Gemini, and Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury which means it’s a higher vibration making themes of intention and magic stronger and intense. We can expect to see rapid advancements in technology and communication. During WWII, we saw the introduction of technologies like radar, improved aircraft, and more efficient intelligence systems. However, the inability to fully leverage these advancements early on due to underestimations or denial showcases Uranus’s disruptive nature when systems are slow to adapt.
Uranus in Gemini’s influence during World War II can also be seen in the turbulence of communication and intelligence, shifts in alliances, breakdowns of traditional beliefs, and the rapid emergence of both revolutionary technologies and strategic lapses. This transit amplified the contrast between innovation and miscalculation, pushing societies to confront and adapt to new realities with mixed success.
The common theme is "human rights versus sinister evil" as it appears across these wars, and in some ways, we can view each conflict as a fight against oppressive forces that undermine individual freedoms and dignity. In the Civil War, "human rights vs. states' rights" can be confusing, so let's break it down while looking at the broader pattern of fighting against an "evil" or oppressive force.
The Revolutionary War: The American colonists fought against British rule, which they saw as oppressive and unjust. Britain’s control over the colonies, its taxation without representation, and restrictions on freedoms were seen as an external “evil.” Colonists believed they had the right to self-govern and live freely, without the overreach of a distant empire.
The Civil War: Here, the sinister force was an internal one—the institution of slavery, which denied freedom to millions of African Americans. The North saw this as incompatible with American values of liberty and equality, while the South defended it as part of their social and economic system.
World War II: In WWII, the threat came from totalitarian regimes overseas—Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and Fascist Italy—whose ideologies and actions directly violated basic human rights on an enormous scale. The Allied forces, including the U.S., fought against this external “evil” to protect human dignity, freedom, and peace.
In each war, you can see a pattern: a force that threatens fundamental freedoms and human dignity. This force, whether it is British imperialism, Southern slavery, or Nazi totalitarianism, imposes control and limits individual rights.
This pattern of "evil" could be interpreted as different expressions of the same underlying force of oppression—manifesting as colonial domination, systemic slavery, or authoritarian regimes. Each time, it violates human rights and incites a moral stand for freedom and justice.
Interestingly, not always. While the Revolutionary War and WWII involved threats from overseas powers, the Civil War was an internal conflict. However, it can still be seen as part of this larger fight against oppression: slavery itself was deeply rooted in a global system, with slaves being brought from Africa and slavery being practiced worldwide for centuries. The Civil War was due to an infection from global influence and served as a confrontation with an oppressive institution that had international origins and implications.
Each war reflects a struggle not only against a specific “evil” but against deeper social injustices and the failure to recognize universal human rights. Whether foreign or domestic, these forces stand in opposition to the core values of freedom and equality.
The next Uranus return, expected around 2027, begins in 2025 when Uranus moves into Gemini and is anticipated to bring major social and structural shifts.
Curiosity will surge and whatever we find will lead us into evolution or rebellion. It will be a time to look forward to as we retrace our steps as a collective and question bad choices that we have made. All we need to do is look at the reality we are living in now. If we are bored, this transit will fix that because two sides of evolution will be presented at all times, the logically and the intuitive. So the pre-work here is to change the way we love, change the way we think and change the way we relate!
